Zune MP3 Player - Can it Win Over the iPod Crowd?
- Ricardo Medina
Microsoft’s Zune is a multimedia player that is as complete as possible. Zune has the capability of housing photos, video and music. Zune also has built in Wi-Fi for Zune to Zune file sharing and a built in FM tuner. It currently has one of the biggest screens (3 inches) for media players below $250. It’s currently available in 4 different colors and more are already in production. Zune allows you to change the background of the media player so that it can always stay visually appealing to you. In conjunction with the Zune software, you’ll be able to add music, photos and video that you already have on your computer. Microsoft just released a limited edition Halo 3 Zune with pre-loaded Halo trailers, soundtracks, Red VS Blue web episodes and photos.
Verdict:
For $250 dollars, this is a media player you will want to keep an eye on. Having Built in wi-fi leaves doors open for future wireless headphones and wireless PC to Zune file transfers. Buy one while it’s still flying under the radar.
